How do I change the display currency on my account
As a company that operates in 150+ jurisdictions worldwide, Nexo has chosen the most widely used currency in international trade – the United States Dollar (USD) – as the base currency on the Nexo platform.
Using this universal currency across all Nexo products allows us to keep Nexo’s $1 optimized by eliminating the unnecessary complexities of recording and storing transaction data in multiple currencies.
Although USD is the underlying platform currency, you can choose between the following display currencies and view your balances the way you are used to:
- Euro (EUR)
- Pound Sterling (GBP)
- Brazilian Real (BRL)
- Polish Złoty (PLN)
- Swiss Franc (CHF)
- Hungarian Forint (HUF)
- Peruvian Sol (PEN)
- Saudi Riyal (SAR)
- Argentine Peso (ARS)
To tailor your Nexo experience to your preferences, you can change the interface currency anytime by following these steps:
Mobile App
2. Select App Settings.
3. Tap Display Currency.
4. Choose your preferred display currency.
Web platform
1. Log into your account and navigate to the profile icon in the top right corner of your screen.
2. Select My Profile.
3. Click Settings.
4. Click on the default currency in the Display currency section.
5. Choose your preferred display currency from the dropdown menu.
Important
- The display currency value is based on the respective asset’s market price in USD and is converted at the exchange rate obtained in real-time. This value is updated every 60 seconds. Any values, estimates, or figures are only indicative and are not intended to be relied upon for legal, financial, or commercial decisions.
- Changing your display currency will not affect your transactions, meaning that Nexo’s system will continue to record them in USD regardless of your preference.
- Clients from countries with a supported local currency can change their display currency at any time. The default display currency for all other clients is set to USD.
