1. What are the crypto rewards rates
Nexo Card purchases in Credit Mode come with crypto rewards as part of Nexo’s Loyalty program*. The higher the Loyalty tier, the higher the crypto cashback you receive:
- Platinum: 2% in NEXO Tokens or 0.5% in BTC.
- Gold: 1% in NEXO Tokens or 0.3% in BTC.
- Silver: 0.7% in NEXO Tokens or 0.2% in BTC.
- Base: 0.5% in NEXO Tokens or 0.1% in BTC.
Note: The minimum crypto cashback payout is $0.01. Amounts lower than $0.01 in value cannot be processed.
* You must maintain a portfolio balance of at least $5,000 in value to access our Loyalty Program with its perks, including the crypto cashback on Nexo Card purchases.
2. Is there a limit to the crypto rewards I receive
Just like with crypto cashback, having a higher Loyalty tier gives you access to an increased monthly limit for the rewards you can receive. Here are the details:
- Platinum: $200 monthly limit on crypto rewards.
- Gold: 50 monthly limit on crypto rewards.
- Silver: 00 monthly limit on crypto rewards.
- Base: $50 monthly limit on crypto rewards.
Note: The above limits reset on the first day of each calendar month.
3. How to change my Crypto Cashback currency
You can change your crypto cashback currency via the Nexo mobile app:
1. Open the Nexo app and log in.
2. Navigate to the Card tab.
3. Scroll down and tap Card Settings.
4. Tap Choose Cashback Type.
5. Choose your preferred option by tapping on it. The change is applied instantaneously.
Important: If you have any pending purchases with the Nexo Card, the option to switch your crypto cashback preference will be unavailable until they are completed.
4. Are all transaction types eligible for crypto cashback rewards
Some Merchant Category Codes (MCC) do not qualify for the Nexo Card crypto cashback rewards. For more information, please visit this article.
What crypto rewards will I get with my Nexo Card?
With every purchase made using your Nexo Card, you’ll earn instant crypto rewards as part of our Loyalty program. The more NEXO Tokens you have in your account, the higher the percentage of the transaction value you will receive back when using the card. Each Loyalty tier has its own crypto rewards rate – here is the breakdown:
- Platinum: 2% in NEXO Tokens or 0.5% in BTC
- Gold: 1% in NEXO Tokens or 0.3% in BTC
- Silver: 0.7% in NEXO Tokens or 0.2% in BTC
- Base: 0.5% in NEXO Tokens or 0.1% in BTC
Please note that the minimum cashback payout is $0.01. Amounts lower than $0.01 in value cannot be processed.
As of 11:00 am UTC on August 8, 2022, the following cashback limits have been introduced for each Loyalty tier:

Platinum: $200 monthly limit on crypto rewards

Base: $50 monthly limit on crypto rewards
Note: The above limits will reset on a 30-day rolling basis.
🗓️ Example: $10 cashback received on September 1 will be counted toward your monthly cashback limit until 23:59:59 UTC on October 1.
The currency of your cashback is chosen by you and can be changed at any time, as often as you like.
You can easily switch between the two options from the Nexo App:
1. Open the Nexo App and log in.
2. Navigate to the “Card” tab.
3. Tap on the “Card Settings” option.
4. Select “Cashback Type“.
5. Choose your preferred option by tapping on it. The change is applied instantaneously.

Types of transactions that are not subject to our cashback rewards
