If you have set up 2FA using an authenticator app and would like to transfer your 2FA codes on another device, or simply would like to change the preferred 2FA method, you have to first disable the active one. You can perform this action on the Security page > 2FA Settings.
You will be prompted to enter the 2FA code either from your authenticator app, or the SMS you will receive, depending on the method you have used.
After verifying the code, the 2FA will be disabled and you will be given the option to activate it again using either an authenticator app or SMS.
Do not forget to delete the old 2FA token from your authenticator app if you have been using that method.
On how to set up the 2FA, refer to this article.
Please note that the process above requires you to have access to your 2FA code. In case you have lost such for whatever reason, or face any issues with your 2FA, please refer to this article or contact our Customer Support team.
Thanks for my comment
Hi.
I proceeded with the reset because my password was wrong. But at the end, they ask me to enter the security code.
When I changed my phone to a new one, the security code generation app was deleted. So I can’t get the code, what should I do?
I’m having the same problem, I’ve lost my phone and now I can’t get any code. How I can access my account again?
